How to send a free SMS without giving your number
What the recipient sees, and what to know before sending.
The form never asks for your own mobile number: a few seconds are enough to send. The message goes out from our gateway's line, and it's that number that shows up on the recipient's phone. Be careful, though: free doesn't mean above the law. Sends are logged, IP address included, and the service remains subject to French law.
The steps

Go to the sending form
Only the recipient's number and the text are required. Your own line is never involved, and you're charged nothing.

Sign the message if you want to be recognised
Since the number shown isn't yours, the recipient doesn't know who's writing. Add your first name to the text if you want them to identify you.

Confirm after the safety gate
The 60-second countdown applies to every send, without the slightest exception.

Find the replies on the dedicated page
A reply sent to the gateway's number appears on the public page of received messages: don't expect any confidentiality there.

Does the recipient see my phone number?
No. The message carries our gateway's number, never yours, which the form doesn't even ask for.
Is the service really free and without legal limits?
Sending is indeed free, but not without rules: sends are logged, notably the IP address, and may be disclosed to the courts in case of abuse.
