Reporting to 33700 (SMS spam)

33700 is the national scheme for reporting unwanted communications. It is used to forward a suspicious SMS free of charge so that it can be examined and abusive senders sanctioned.

The steps come down to two actions: forward the received message to 33700, then reply to the confirmation SMS specifying the number of the reported sender. Reporting does not protect you individually from that sender, but it feeds the collective fight against fraudulent campaigns.
